Accounts Training Information

We now offer 2 levels of Accounts training - Level 1 - "Getting Started" and Level 2 - "Advanced".  In response to feedback from previous participants, both sessions will now include some "hands-on" experience in the form of small group exercises, as well as discussion, presentation, and the provision of literature.  Sessions have been extended from 2 to 3 hours to facilitate this change and will now take place on Saturdays.

The main focus of Level 1 training is to get you up and running with Omega Accounts, and confident in your ability to undertake the main accounting transactions, such as setting up opening balances, recording income and expense, bank reconciliation, and producing standardised reports.

Level 2 training is for those who are already comfortable with the basics of Omega Accounts and want to get more out of the program.  It will cover Assets and Liabilities, fund transfers, journal entries and introduce more advanced reporting features.

Please note, however, that individual church finances cannot be covered in this group format.  If you would like a more personalised service, you may wish to consider our on-site training.  Contact us to arrange.
